What are the requirements to become an LGV driver?

To work as a LGV driver, you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's licence, pass the four tests that make up the Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), complete 35 hours of CPD training every five years to maintain your qualification, and show that you are medically fit. These are the basic requirements that are to be fulfilled to become a LGV Driver. Also majorly it is required that the person should undergo LGV Driver Training to have safe and better driving experiences as per the guidelines settled by the government.
