How to get a lorry Licence?

 

To obtain a lorry licence, you must have a C1 Category licence. This HGV licence is not the same as a Category B vehicle licence; however, if you have a standard driver's licence, you may be eligible for a C1 licence based on the date you acquired your driver's licence. 

As a result, if you want to drive a vehicle weighing up to 7.5 tonnes in the United Kingdom, you must obtain a C1 licence and pursue LGV Driver Training in addition to a category B automobile licence. A tachograph is also not required for personal use.
